Held at Canning River Eco Education Centre on Saturday 7 March, the Changing Your World Fair is a showcase of innovative products, services, start-ups, innovations and activities accessible to the community.


The fair is a mix of community and business innovation showcase and Expo – partnering with the Australian Electric Vehicle Association (AEVA - WA Branch).


Stalls from across the Sustainability, Innovation and Smart Cities spectrum will be on offer, from all kinds of businesses and community groups, products and services, as well as delightful sustainable food and drink options, seminars and learning opportunities and valet bike parking!

Learn where we're at with working towards a Statewide Container Deposit scheme roll-out, how the three bin system is changing the face of resource management, how solar installations are changing our state's energy mix, how new electric vehicle infrastructure is addressing range anxiety and much, much more!

It will be held alongside AEVA's exciting annual Electrikhana event, showcasing  some of the newest EV technology available on the WA market.​


Come join us for a test drive in a new EV, check out the new enabling technologies coming online, hear about new innovations and exciting projects in the EV space and stay for the beautiful surrounds and delicious food and drink on offer.

Ride your bike to the Changing your World Fair and enjoy hassle free parking.

You can park your bike at the free Bicycle valet service so you know that your bike will be safe while you enjoy the fair.

People on Bicycles will not only keep your bicycle secure, but are offering a free bike service to the first fifty people to book in for the day.

10am - 3pm, Saturday 7 March, 2020 - Canning River Eco Education Centre


Come on down to the Canning River Eco Education Centre, Kent Street Weir, Cannington on the 7th of March for a picnic among the trees to learn more about the latest in electric vehicle technology. 


We'll have many different kinds of electric cars, scooters and e-bikes on display with test-drives available all day.  A booking system will be used to ensure valid driver's licenses and indemnity forms are available. Vehicles available for test-drives include the all new Tesla Model 3, S and X, Hyundai Ioniq and Kona EV, Nissan Leaf 2.0, Renault Zoe and the Kangoo ZE electric van. You'll even meet some of the high end contenders - BMW i3, Jaguar I-pace, and maybe even the PorscheTaycan.


Older models including the Leaf, iMiEV and Holden Volt will be on display, along with several converted cars; yes - you can convert petrol cars to electric!  On two wheels we'll have the Fonzarelli Electric scooter, as well as e-bike and e-moto demonstrations from local vendors. 


But it's not just about electric vehicles - you can learn about solar power for your home, as well as battery storage, and how to make the most of your batteries.  Come and learn about how EVs are transforming the energy and transport sector, as well as plans for a new electric highway linking Perth and Esperance.  There will be demonstrations of remote area fast charging, mobile solar generators and more!
